Design
Consultation
Fundamental to our design process is you, our client. We like to meet you on site, chat about your ideas for your garden and become familiar with your setting. We develop a design brief outlining aesthetic, form and functional requirements for your garden. Depending on project scope, a service and fee proposal is presented alongside your brief outlining design services suited to achieving your landscape goals.
Design Concept
Upon acceptance of our proposal, most projects begin with a preliminary sketch plan. This plan will convey the use of spaces, inside outside connections, features and flow. For example: hard surfaces; retaining walls; deck and pergola structures; steps; spots for art; soft landscaping; and a plant palette are presented at a preliminary sketch level of information.
Design Refinement
After receiving your feedback, the preliminary sketch plan is refined and detail added during the final sketch plan stage. Material selection, basic levels, structures, features, garden lighting, and a plant schedule are developed and presented at a final sketch plan level of information.
Documentation
Based on project requirements, a service and fee proposal is prepared for further documentation that is required. This may include project specific construction or planting detail, or documentation required for approvals and engineering.
We love building beautiful garden spaces for living. Installation of a landscape is where the design comes to life. This is the part that we get most excited about.
Installation
Cost Estimate
Again this process begins with you; we meet on site go over your project scope and construction detail. A cost estimate for works is prepared and presented. We are always happy to discuss and refine the scope based on your requirements.
Construct
Once a quotation is accepted, we schedule the works to suit both you and our construction team.
Our team consists of qualified industry and trade professionals who take pride in their work, and take pleasure in creating beautiful outdoor spaces for living. We are also more than happy to work from other designer’s landscape plans, or your own ideas.
